No batteries needed and it's waterproof! The GlowTie 3-Way Collar by FotoLum is manufactured from the G-40 series photo luminescent vinyl sewn onto a fluorescent orange collar with a standard buckle. 3M Scotchlite fluorescent orange reflective overlay is applied to the photo luminescent vinyl. The reflective overlay is available in a Paw Print Pattern. The collar will charge in any natural or artificial light source and will glow throughout the night helping to prevent pet related falls. The reflective overlay produces a bright white flash to automobile headlights attracting the driver's attention.
