Optimal profile visibility and climate protection make this lined jacket the ideal jacket for your favorite walking/running companion featuring illumiNITE reflective technology. Not to be confused with 'glow-in-the-dark' visibility, illumiNITE is a retro-reflective technology which means the reflective qualities are visible only to the light source. When a vehicle's headlights shine on the jacket (at intersections, coming up from behind and approaching from the front) your dog will be visible to the driver. The function of illumiNITE is to provide passers by the visibility of you and/or your dog so they do not hit you; the jackets will not provide visibility to you as your dog runs around the yard in the dark of night (I would recommend a light on the collar for that type of visibility).
